Belkiss Obadia creates different forms of art that build on her strong Eastern and Western traditions. She started with silk as her medium in the late 1980s and spent many years learning different techniques. Her silks have been featured in many exhibitions in Europe, Canada, Asia and the Middle East.

By 2004 She started venturing towards painting on canvas using pastels and oils where she has had successful Exhibitions and Sales in Washington DC. Around the same time Belkiss fell in love with Graphic Designing and started creating web sites, logos and art through the use of a computers. Where she discovered there were further breathtaking approaches to learn and create through the eyes of photography.

Last year in 2008 she started small projects in Interior designing by helping people reorganize there homes and redesign the facade of there rooms.
